Nice quaint place. It’s on the older side, but very clean and secure. Communication with host was excellent. When we couldn’t figure something out, they responded quickly, even late at night. The AC wasn’t as powerful as we would’ve liked and couldn’t figure it out on the first day, but again, their communication and helping us through the issue was quick and easy and we were able to figure everything out.

The beds were comfortable despite what other reviewers said. The location was ideal. We were there for a memorial service down the road but the proximity to Palo Alto could not be more ideal. But let’s be frank. It’s a kinda cool family home now owned by a Airbnb service. There is no personal interaction or touches. Which really is the converse of what the Airbnb experience should feel like. I don’t need interaction with the owners, in fact sometimes prefer not. But it feels impersonal, the whole house. I would almost rather rent it from the sweet grandma that must have once owned it. The way the kitchen can close off from the rest of the house was actually ideal for a large group. Those are the things that the previous owner must have thought of. The backyard was huge and the neighbors amazing. It’s just obvious someone bought it as an investment and made it an airbnb before they sell it for several million a couple of years from now. Oh and the floors were filthy.
