LOCATION
The property is located in a gated community on the western side of Oahu (Cottages at Mauna Olu), with 24 hours security. The community has parks, and is close to the golf course.
There is plenty to do in this sunny town, all within 10 mins drive, including swimming, snorkeling, diving, hiking, and so much more. Depending on the seasons, You could catch sightings of whales, dolphins, and turtles in the ocean.
Waianae is 40 minutes from the airport (HNL), 45 minutes from the heart of Waikiki, and an hour from the North Shore. It’s the perfect place to relax after a day of exploration.

QUIET TIME:
This is in a gated residential community, please be respectful of our neighbors; no parties, no events, or large gatherings.
HOA requires quiet hours 9:00 pm - 8:00 am.

No parking allowed on the street.

The house is newer and in a nice private guard gated community with a beautiful ocean view. The host, Christine, was responsive to anything we needed and did a great a job of checking in with us. We rented the house for a week trip with 4 adults and 6 children which slept everyone comfortably. The bad: The area right outside of the community to get to the property feels unsafe and lot of homeless people surrounding. It is very far from everything like major shopping and restaurants. We chose this place because during our visit we also stayed at Aulani for 2 days and it seemed convenient however that was also not very close. The house is missing a larger couch, furnishings like dressers in the bedrooms, no TV's in bedrooms for our kids was a problem. The furniture feels small and uncomfortable. There is not enough kitchenware. In the summer the house was hot and lot of flies, they need ceiling fans! Overall nice home but would not stay again due to proximity and amenities.

The listing thought of everything from a play area in the garage, to cotton swabs on the bathroom. We found a couple items not clean like the crib and high chair. The listing revealed a community pool which later wasn’t available, the internet didn’t work, foosball table was broken and coffee pot wasn’t draining. All minor inconveniences to this beautiful and peaceful place. The listing provided us with board games, tea, soft bedding, complimentary chocolates, all AC was great, pool table was a great bonus and fantastic views. The property management team was SUPER responsive! I’d definitely stay here again. Hopefully the pool is open by then.
