Waikiki Grand Hotel is right across street from small pier, ocean, and zoo. This end of Waikiki has the largest and best beach of the strip. 

Kapiolani Park and Waikiki Aquarium are a few minutes walk, 5 minutes or less.

Transit

• Parking info. There is no parking included with this apartment. Building parking is $35 plus tax per day - call Waikiki Grand Hotel reserve a spot. 

• You can park for free around Kapiolani park which is about a 5 minute walk. Parking is on the "Paki Street" side of the park and along Monsarrat St. Kapiolani Park has free metered parking from 6pm-10am daily and all-day on Sundays. 

• Across the street, you can park at the zoo for only $1.5 an hour. This can be the cheapest option since you only pay for what you need. 

• If you choose not to rent a car, there are multiple bus routes just steps away. Uber or Lyft also available. I recommend only renting a car on days you plan to go North Shore. Everything else is walking distance or easily accessible by bus which is one of the best systems in the US.

Overall, was good for what we needed - to have a place to sleep and eat. Cleanliness was left to be desired but the team was very responsive. The AC flooded because of the upstairs neighbor, but the team was very responsive. Paid parking is an option, highly recommend ahead because it's nearly impossible to find it for free. The hotel staff themselves were kind and helpful. The location is good if you want Waikiki.

My friends and I loved the place. It was clean and had a great view. It's perfectly located right next to waikiki beach and across the street from the zoo. Finding free parking was super easy, tho we had to pay for the zoo parking a few times but it was cheap and convenient. The apartment has everything you need and more! (some beach chairs and coolers -really useful). Would definitely stay here again :)

Location of the airbnb was really good, super short walk to Waikiki beach. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of dish ware, beach towels and two beach chairs if needed. One thing we wish the hotel had was a vending machine for water, since a lot of the places are all closed later at night. Our internet was not working and we weren’t able to get it resolved. Overall it was a good price for the location.
