The location is great for access to downtown, the train station and Stanford. I didn't use the television or the wifi, so I can't comment on those. Great hot water in the shower and a nice amount of space in the unit. I used the hot plate, tea kettle, and toaster, all of which worked well. I relocated the microwave and coffee maker to the top of the fridge to make enough room to actually cook breakfast. A few things were missing that I did communicate to the host but were not addressed during my stay -- there was nothing for washing dishes (dish soap, sponges, dish towels, etc) or a trash can in the kitchen (only recycling). I bought my own dish soap and sponges and managed to make due. It did make me wonder how clean the dishes could be without anything to clean them. This unit only has space heaters and a fan, which was okay for my stay. There were no screens on the windows or the sliding door, so I was not able to air out the unit and it could have used fresh air.

There were a ton (like more than twenty) of little spiders in the bedroom when we first got there. There were even some in the bed. We let the most know and they came the next day to spray outside and change the bedding. The WiFi was terrible. Barely usable. And the problem wasn’t solved before we left, but we made due. It was cold while we were there, so we had to use the space heaters that they provided, but half the time if both of the space heaters were on and you tried to use the microwave or the coffee maker it would blow a fuse. Luckily, the fuse box is in the bedroom, so it’s not too much of a hassle. Overall, it was just okay.
