I had a great stay The location was fantastic. It was just a couple blocks from my daughter and walkable to downtown San Mateo. The amenities (water filter pitcher, magnifying mirror, hot water kettle) made it feel like a home away from home. Only challenge was the noise from the thin walls, which sometimes interrupted sleep. But for the reasonable price ands location, I was happy!

This place was great for a work trip: easy access from the airport, walking distance from San Mateo downtown. The only issue I had were with the weak soundproofing (also the fridge can be a little bit noisy too) and the check-in instruction that are not available before the check-in day, which is annoying when travelling internationally and mobile connectivity is not always very smooth. Overall, a nice no-frills place to spend time in the area.
