CANCELLATION POLICY: Please follow the cancellation policy on the respective platform. No refund within 30 days of check-in - website cancellation policy only. — NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. Deposit will be on-hold, reservation will be cancelled. Cops will be called, and legal actions will be taken, if you choose to throw a party at our property! Outside furniture, and decorations are not allowed. Keep outside noise to a minimum after 10pm. Ask for approval if you have visitors, and additional guests fees applies. Exterior security cameras monitoring in place "front of the house, facing the driveway," so please check your guests count for accuracy at the time of your reservation! Violation to this rule will result in immediate eviction. Groups of visitors, and party size visitors are not allowed. — We are delighted to offer a pet-friendly property! If you wish to bring your furry friends along, there is a fee of $100 per pet per stay. Also, extra guest fee applies after 6 guests, $25 per person, per night.

The house was perfect for my family of five, including our dog. We stayed for five nights, from Monday to Friday. It had more appliances than listed in the description, such as a toaster and an electric kettle, which was great to have! With the mall so close, we often debated whether to cook or eat out. The space was large enough for everyone to feel comfortable. The only real downside was the parking. There is no garage access that I was aware of, except for the two driveway spots. Additionally, many neighbors left their trash bins on the street for days after Monday’s trash day or placed orange cones to block others from parking. Since the street is public property, this felt a bit illegal if you ask me! Some of my family had to park closer to the entrance of the street because of this and walk up to the house! Otherwise, this place was relaxing, cozy, and perfect for my family!

Deborah’s house was great. Clean, cozy and great location. Kitchen has all utensils you’ll need. The internet is great. AC is great. Great value. The smell some commenters talked about is true, but if you don’t open the side windows you shouldn’t feel anything. I mean, I’m a person who gets bothered by it generally but if we had to stay in San Jose again, we’d probably stay at this place again because it wasn’t a problem. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

Our family lived in San Jose for six years so we are familiar with the area. Overall, this is a nice home for the location, size and value. We stayed here primarily so that we could walk to a close friends house who lives nearby. We also appreciated the central San Jose location as it is close to downtown and 280 freeway. My only minor suggestions is to have a better stocked kitchen for those interested in cooking more meals, and also be aware that you have to enter the back patio through a bedroom, which is not mentioned in the description. (Many older homes in San Jose are like this so it is what it is.) Also, as other guests have mentioned, the residents next door are known marijuana smokers in the neighborhood. This doesn’t bother us and is a pretty common smell in the Bay Area (and other big cities) but something to be aware if you are sensitive to this sort of thing. We didn’t really notice it.
