Very beautiful place to stay! Host was very understanding and respectful. Nice scenery to see, also was easy access to go in and out from the house! Would definitely come back!

Everything exceeded our expectations! Stella’s studio was spotless, incredibly comfortable! Makaha Valley was just as impressive as the studio. Nestled beneath the soaring, breathtaking mountain views, it’s one of Oʻahu’s most beautiful, peaceful, and true hidden gems. We loved waking up to lush green mountain and ocean views, birds, and the walkable neighborhood each morning. The neighborhood was quiet, well maintained, safe, and very welcoming, making it easy to truly relax in a resort-like setting. Beautiful world-class beaches are just 5 minutes down the road, and we also enjoyed having access to the community pool and fitness center. With crystal-clear water, sea turtles, incredible sunsets, scenic hikes, and a more authentic side of Hawaiʻi away from the crowds, this location is hard to beat. If you’re looking for a peaceful island escape while still being close enough to explore the rest of Oʻahu, this is the perfect location. We highly recommend Stella’s studio and will be back

We had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was convenient for our plans, and the studio had all the basic necessities, including great beach gear. However, future guests should know the layout and management style weren't ideal. The listing is a studio, but 2 queen beds take up the entire living space (there is no separate bedroom). Storage was tight; 2 of the 3-dresser drawers were filled with host supplies, leaving us with 1 drawer to share and few closet hangers. Communication felt rigid and micromanaged. Check-in is through an unfamiliar external site, and instructions weren't sent until 1-hour prior to check-in, which was stressful for our late arrival. We felt watched after getting a message to turn off the AC when out, paired with an in-unit noise detector. They also pushed back on a brief daytime pool visit from our grandkids, and the advertised "$100 off an experience" had no instructions that I recall.
