We loved our stay here in San Mateo. We booked it for the space for 8 travelers and location, and it was perfect! The kitchen was also very well stocked for evenings in. We will definitely book here when visiting family here again.

We stayed at this home for a few days. The neighborhood is quiet. However, the house is quite close to the road, and we often saw passersby looking into the living room and the second-floor bedroom through the windows. So we kept the curtains closed most of the time. Stella was very responsive. We happened to arrive on garbage collection day, and couldn't find the bins, Stella replied quickly even though it was late at night. Much appreciated. One big issue was a strong odor in the house. The moment we opened the door on the first day, we noticed a very unpleasant smell. It got even worse each time we returned after going out. To be honest, it smelled very similar to the smell in one of my friends' home who owns cats. That said, the host was very kind and responsive, and we appreciated the peaceful neighborhood. Thank you for hosting us, and we hope these small issues can be improved for future guests.
