CANCELLATION POLICY: Please follow the cancellation policy on the respective platform. No refund within 30 days of check-in, if you book on our website. Security Deposit ($500 USD) — NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. Deposit will be on-hold, reservation will be cancelled. Cops will be called, and legal actions will be taken, if you choose to throw a party at our property! Outside furniture, and decorations are not allowed. Keep outside noise to a minimum after 10pm. Ask for approval if you have visitors, and additional guests fees applies. Exterior security cameras monitoring in place, so please check your guests count for accuracy at the time of your reservation! Violation to this rule will result in immediate eviction. Groups of visitors, and party size visitors are not allowed. — We are delighted to offer a pet-friendly property! If you wish to bring your furry friends along, there is a fee of $100 per pet per stay. Also, extra guest fee applies after 6 guests, $50 per person, per night.

Only registered guests are allowed on the premises. Violation will result in immediate eviction. Exterior security cameras in place, check the guest count at the time of your reservation. Ask for approval, if you have visitors. Group of visitors or parties are not allowed. Do not disconnect any connected devices. When in doubt, ask for approval. All devices are to be ON at all times, if WiFi is disconnected by guests, a team member will be sent to resolve, rate of $150/hr will be charged. The quiet hour starts at 10:00 p.m. No smoking in the house. Do not use the towels to remove makeup or anything that would stain them. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Products such as wipes, hygiene / feminine products will clog the toilet. Clean dirty dishes and organize the trash for recycling. "Please be mindful of our neighbors during your stay. We care about maintaining good relationships with our community, we appreciate that you follow our 'house rules' during your stay." We are committed to Rent Responsibly standards. We had a great stay overall. The house itself was spacious, beds were comfortable and had absolutely stunning views — definitely a highlight of the trip. That said, there were some maintenance issues. The back door would not lock, the towels and wash clothes were stained and thrown in the hall closet. The host was responsive and addressed our concerns within a few days. There was nothing to sweep the floors with and had to borrow a broom. Also, the exterior of the property wasn’t as described or shown in the listing, the back yard is unsafe for pets and children and parts of the outside were a bit more worn than expected. Part of the fence around the property was missing. Another area of the fence has sand that is the same height as the fence and is unsafe due to the erosion to the cliff wall that is directly beside that fence. It would have been nice to have outdoor furniture that wasn’t broken and worn so we could have spent more time outside enjoying the views.

Marbella is very responsive and communicative. The house was clean and updated. Some attention to maintenance and minor repairs could be attended to but that’s not a deal breaker for us, we booked for the location and for the pet friendly environment and host.

Unfortunately when we arrived at the house there was excessive trash piled up outside, including a dirty diaper. There is not good phone reception so if you have not looked up the front door code ahead of time you are not going to be in good shape, fortunately for us the front door ended up being unlocked. We communicated with the host immediately about the trash issue, with no resolution until after two nights of our stay. There was significant mouse droppings, torn up towels, chewed on toilet paper under the main bedroom bathroom sink. The patio couch had no cushions. The only outdoor seating was two flimsy folding chairs and a broken patio chair. No benches as pictured. I never received proper refunds from the host for the trash and mouse issues. The view was great, but don’t be fooled by the new looking property photos.

The house itself is nice and the view is absolutely amazing — that’s definitely the highlight of the stay. However, the cleanliness and maintenance of the property were quite disappointing. The apartment had not been cleaned before our arrival: dirty towels, previous guests’ garbage still there, sand everywhere, and dog hair on the furniture. The sofa in front of the TV was stained and dirty. The windows couldn’t be opened due to sand stuck in the frames. Several things need repair — the bathroom doors are noisy and swollen, the light above the gas stove flickered constantly, and the toilet paper holder was broken. Overall, it seems like a lot of these issues have been left unattended for a while. If the owner takes care of basic cleanliness, replaces towels and napkins, and addresses the long-pending repairs, this could be a great place. As it stands now, the view is the only real advantage — everything else was below average for the price paid.
